  • Jasmine

    Helping with a master’s in law (December 2021)

    She aspires to do master’s in law and the grant will help her do that.

  • Drashti

    Getting a taekwondo medal for India (December 2021)

    Drashti is a black belt, 2nd Dan taekwondo champion. This grant will help her achieve her dream: get a medal for India in Olympics 2024.

  • Harshit

    Helping with a master’s course in conservation biology (December 2021)

    Harshit is pursuing a master’s course in conservation biology. He’s a curious kid and has done many online courses aligned with his interest in evolutionary biology. To pay fees for the course, he had to look for jobs and this grant will help him focus 100% on his studies.

  • Abing

    Enabling a professional podcasting career (December 2021)

    Abing is from a rural area in Arunachal Pradesh and has launched a podcast using his mobile phone only. https://anchor.fm/abing-lamnio.

    With this grant, Abing will purchase equipment to be able to record his podcasts professionally.

  • Sanjana

    Helping create a mentorship network for students from rural north-east (December 2021)

    Sanjana is from Sikkim and she wants to use the grant money to create a mentorship network for students from rural areas in north-east. She will connect people from north east with well-established careers to these kids, hopefully uplifting the region.

  • Shumbam

    Helping clear CA finals (October 2021)

    Shumbam cleared his CA foundation & intermediate all by himself (without any coaching, since his family can’t afford it). He also helped his younger brother clear CA foundation. This grant will help him take coaching and clear CA finals to achieve his dream of becoming CA.

  • Kanhaiya

    Buying power backup to continue studying (October 2021)

    Kanhaiya is a student of IIT Roorkee and lives in rural part of eastern UP. Pandemic affected his studies badly because his area has frequent power cuts. This grant will help him buy power backup to continue studying. He helps people widely and liberally (see screenshot)!

  • Shivani Kumari

    Setting up an indigenous food outlet (October 2021)

    Shivani Kumari will use the money to setup an indigenous food outlet in Simultala village. Like many of us, she did her engineering but her passion lies in natural farming and indigenous cultures. This grant will allow her to take practical steps towards it.

  • Kshitija

    Helping them with higher education (October 2021)

    Kshitija is the first person in their family who can speak and is proficient in English. They work with underprivileged & marginalized communities. This money will help them with higher education.

  • Jaspreet

    Helping a state-level badminton player with postgrad (October 2021)

    Jaspreet is a state-level badminton player who will use the money to advance her Masters’ level education. Unfortunately, her parents passed away and she depends on her grandparents so this money will really make a difference to them.
